Around the country there is a very quiet phenomenon occurring as a direct result of this new health care that is now a reality. Many of the community hospitals around the country are quietly being closed. Other community hospitals that had plans and blueprints to expand their building are being denied.
How will current community hospitals cope with the additional demand? Individuals with health care issues in need of a hospital stay. Unfortunately, many individuals will be turned away because of over crowding. This will affect individuals who live in city environments as much as those individuals who reside in residential areas.
The inability to grow as the community grows and expands will devastate even the best community hospitals and all the personnel who are involved with the assisting of individuals in need. The medical health care communities across the country will be asked to take on an overwhelming caseload and this will not serve anyone.
You have to wonder why community hospitals are being told to close. You have to wonder what the reasoning is for hospitals to forfeit their plans of expansion. Statistically, the medical health care physician owned hospital has the ability to staff fifty-five thousand medical physicians, registered nurses, nurse’s aids, and a multitude of other staff.
Hundreds of thousands of individuals with careers in the medical health care industry will have no place of employment to go. How will they be able to help those less fortunate within a given community if they are unable to find employment in the expertise they studied.
Every individual is expected to purchase a health insurance policy that will virtually be of no value. Access to health care medical physicians will become less, and with the community, hospitals in their community closing where will the people go for assistance. The ability of the community hospitals to grow to meet the demands of the surrounding community will become very difficult.
Eventually, many of the staff members will be so overwhelmed with workloads they are unable to meet that they will leave the health care community for a position that is less stressful and less demanding. The reduction in staff for the medical health care community stretching from coast to coast will cause a reaction that will not satisfy anyone.
The wait times for scheduling an appointment with a medical health care physician will increase over time causing individuals who are already ill to become more ill by the time they get to see a medical health care physician.
