Comparing the new health insurance system in relation to probability with other countries is an undertaking that has rarely been done before. The country does dabble from time to time and cover the statistics in certain areas, but an in depth comparison was never needed.
In today’s world, we are being forced to reconsider how we perceive our new health insurance coverage in comparison to other countries. Is our new health insurance equal to what our closest neighbor has? Is it intended to function better, worse, or the same as our friends in Canada?
One of the main issues that the United States has maintained in regards to the health care was the delivery system, which is now being scraped for a more unified low cost health insurance system. The results of how we will do under this new health care system is yet to unfold, but the prospects of a good outcome remain skeptical.
One of the main issues and differences between the health care delivery system executed in the United States and that executed in Canada is the sustainable technology. We the people have a CAT scanner in just about every hospital, private and community throughout the country. In Canada, they have a CAT scanner in each Province, which makes it very difficult for many of the citizenry.
As each citizen reaches the age of seventy in Canada, they are more or less left to their own vices when they become ill with a major illness. The country, unless you are a dignitary or one of the elite class will seldom receive the necessary medical health care when they are diagnosed with a major illness.
What is a major illness? The health care community of Canada defines Kidney disease, heart disease, and other major chronic illness as a major illness that will cost the country unnecessary money. In the United States until the passage of the new health care reform bill would continue to administer medical health care assistance no matter what an individual’s age or status of health was.
Whether a United States citizen had health insurance coverage or not, the hospitals and medical health care staff would administer the same medical treatment when necessary. Maybe this is why the mortality rate for major illnesses is lower in the United States than it is in Canada. The World Health Organization uses a particular method to measure the performance of health care services.
1. The level of health and the distribution of health
2. The level of responsiveness and the fairness of financial contribution
